Do women think that their general of impression of men's expectation of them are true or illusion when?

considering that the majority of their impressions are taken from magazines, TV and cinema, girlfriends, and only finally after all of that personal relationships. It seems to go that a lot of women take much stock in the impressions that they get about men's wants in women from indirect sources. With a heavy reliance on hearsay and conjecture do the women on here believe that they can predict what a man wants; Or do they think that these perceptions are skewed visions of what realistically men desire?
