Has anyone ever tried to rebel against Jagex on runescape?

I know about the small scale rebellion Doctor J60 tried to do...but were there ever any large scale rebellions players have done? If so, what exactly did they do to really get it going or whatever? Im just curious, ever since i read about Doctor J60 I`ve been curious lol
