What is the Spiritual meaning of the "dry land" crossing of the Red Sea and Jordan River?

I know the bible puts in every detail for a reason. What does the "dry land" signify in the Israelites crossing the Red Sea and Jordan River on "dry land"? Bible verses about dry land seem to talk about rebellion and demons Psa 68:6 and Mat 12:43. What's the spiritual significance of this??? Thanks.
